Synopsis
Gambia. A youngster tries to improve his lot in his home country after a discouraging return from Europe. Without work, all his hopes are pinned on a small piece of arid land. He would like to build something, but he has no resources. Or sell, but this would go against his mother’s wishes. And the thought of trying his luck in Italy again creeps into his mind.

Biography
Clara Delva (Verona, 1992). She has a degree in Set Design and Costume Design from the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, Italy. She then studied directing at ZeLIG, the school of documentary cinema in Bolzano where she directed the documentary film Come se nulla fosse which was selected for a number of festivals in Italy. In 2018, she worked as assistant director on the documentary Las Hermanas de Rocinante by Alexandra Kaufmann.
