Rental
The catalogue
The films of FESCAAAL travel all over Italy thanks to the sales activity. It is possible to rent or consult the titles in the COEmedia Distribuzione Cinema Catalogue to organise screenings, reviews, meetings and events or for study or research purposes. We also advise on the inclusion of film and cultural initiatives in partnership projects.
A rich catalogue – unique in Italy – with more than 80 titles from Africa, Asia, Latin America including feature films and short fiction and documentaries in original language with Italian subtitles, dealing with various themes including: migration, comparing cultures, history and geopolitics, globalisation, food sustainability and intercultural dialogue.
The films are available for rental for public screenings or home video and are suitable for World Citizenship Education interventions in schools or other contexts.
In recent years, COE has also included in its catalogue films by Italian directors shot on the three continents or dealing with cultures and issues related to immigration and interculturalism.

The history
COEmedia Distribuzione Cinema
Since ’80s, COE has been involved in the promotion of audiovisual film literacy and the national film distribution of films from Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as European and Italian works that tell the story of multicultural society.
At the beginning of the 1990s COE Foundation started COE media, one of the most active European companies in the field of production, promotion and distribution of cinema from the three continents.
Activity in the film sector has enabled COE to build up a distribution catalogue unique in its kind, selecting the best in terms of authorship and educational training, which now has over 80 titles with active rights and more than 150 films in the archive, which is renewed and enriched every year with titles presented exclusively at African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival.
