A theatre and film director, Lotfi Achour has directed more than 25 theatrical productions, including Macbeth, created for the World Shakespeare Festival on the occasion of the London Olympics and produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company. His short films have been selected by more than 200 festivals, winning over 80 awards all over the world: they include Law of the Lamb which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, his debut feature film, Burning Hope, was presented in competition at the Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage, and then in New York, Beirut, Montpellier, Durban, Lausanne, Geneva and Paris. He is currently working on his second feature film, Red Path, made with the support of Eurimages.
