From the 10th to the 18th of November, the Popoli e Religioni – Terni Film Festival returns, the Umbrian festival now in its fourteenth edition that every year aims to stimulate intercultural and interreligious dialogue through a privileged medium: cinema.
The leitmotif will be adolescence, the “imperfect age” that gives its name to this year’s edition, and Nigeria has been chosen as the focus.
Among the films in the international competition, two come from the COEmedia Distribuzione Cinema catalog: Wallay by Berni Goldblat and Une saison en France by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. But on the program we find two other films known to audiences of this year’s Milan African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival: the winner of the ISMU Prize, Into Reverse by Noha Adel, and the closing film of the 2018 edition, Sheikh Jackson by Amr Salama.
