Amine Lakhnech was born in a village in the north of Tunisia in 1988. For many years he worked in film production in Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. A self-taught director, he founded his own production company, AntWorks visuals, and in 2019 made his directing debut with True Story, which had its world premiere at the Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage. He is currently working on the screenplay of his first feature film.
