Karine de Villers
Biography
Karine de Villers was born in Quito, Ecuador, in 1965: she is an anthropologist and filmmaker; she made her first documentary n 1990 which obtained awards and prizes internationally, as did her subsequent films, co-directed with Mario Brenta. After having worked for a long period on the distribution of Belgian cinema at the Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel in Brussels, she currently teaches film screenwriting and leads a number of workshops and seminars at festivals, schools and cultural associations.
