I poveri dimenticano

The director returns to Niger, to his village of Garagoumsa, where he meets his childhood friend Mahaman Lawali who cultivates the land in order not to eat sand. The simple life led by Lawali and his family is marked by the rhythm of growing millet. Against the mining exploitation of his land, Lawali works very hard so that his children can go to school.
