The round table “Italy and Africa: Culture, Education, Cooperation and Future Prospects” is the occasion to learn about and analyse the role of Italian development cooperation in the education of Africa’s new generations, with particular attention to the investment in skills at the service of the cultural industry. During the event it will be possible to hear the voices of producers, directors and young actors from Africa who speak about the African cultural industry, its role as a vehicle of development for the content and its current needs. The link between education, empowerment of the new generations and the development of Africa and of the African creative industry will also be discussed and models of sustainable collaboration between Italy and African countries will be explored.
