Synopsis
A story on the road taken from the novel by Selva Almada and set in the boundless landscapes of the Argentinean countryside. Trapped in a fate which she has not chosen, Leni follows her father, an exalted evangelical preacher, in his mission, village by village. The casual meeting with Gringo, a deeply atheist man, and his son will reawaken the conscience of Leni and her desire for emancipation. The cast includes two exceptional actors, the Chilean Alfredo Castro and the Spaniard Sergi Lopez.

Biography
Paula Hernández was born in Buenos Aires and studied at Universidad del Cine. Her first feature film, Herencia (2001) won the Ópera Prima Award from Argentina's National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts. In 2019 The Sleepwalkers premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was Argentina’s official entry for the Oscars. A Ravaging Wind was premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2023.
