Synopsis
The Democratic Republic of Congo could feed almost one person out of two on the Earth, yet 122 million Congolese suffer from hunger. In the face of this paradox, the film meets some resilient farmers who have resisted wars and corruption, joining together in cooperatives and earning their independence and sustenance. Even though they live thousands of miles apart, their voices echo and launch a universal message: awareness is the first step towards freedom.
