Biography
Federico Demattè was born in Trento in 1996. In 2016 he moved to Berlin and then London to develop his own musical project. After three years he returned to Italy, published the novel Jennifer salta giù (Edizioni la Gru) and enrolled in the Naba academy of Milan. Thus began his path of music and commercial video clips: he directed videos for Sony, Asian Fake and Bombadischi and commercial for Porsche, Golden Goose and Tod’s. Federico is director, screenwriter and editor of Inchei, his debut short film, with which he won the award for Best Director and Best Short Film at the Venice International Film Critics' Week (SIC) in 2021. Battima, in competition at the 20th edition of Alice Nella Città, an independent section parallel to the Rome Cine Fest, is his second short film.
