Synopsis

Biography
Mathieu Volpe (born in Rome, 1990), raised by a Belgian mother and an Italian father in Bari, moved to Belgium in 2009 to study filmmaking. His short films have been showcased at international film festivals such as Locarno, Turin, Dok Leipzig, and Fipadoc. An Italian Youth his debut documentary, was filmed in Italy and Burkina Faso and premiered at the Festival dei Popoli in 2022. At the same time, he is working on Red Gold his first fictional feature, produced by the Dardenne brothers. Eldoradomarks his first foray into fiction shorts.
