Synopsis
In 1964, the Aswan Dam submerged 44 Nubian villages along the Nile. In a touching animation film, the director imagines the journey into the past of a young woman who reconnects with her land which is now under water and tells the story of her people’s exodus. Accompanied by traditional songs, the young woman brings with her the awareness that Nubia will continue to live inside her.
