"In Gaza, you have to arrive in the evening, in springtime, lock yourself in your room and listen to the sounds coming in through the open windows... We are in 2018. I’m 25 years old and a foreign traveller. I meet young Palestinians my own age".

Biography
Piero Usberti was born in Italy in 1992, studied philosophy at the University of Turin before dedicating himself to directing. He is also an actor, particularly in the films of his brother, Tommaso Usberti. In the spring of 2018, he spent three months in Gaza as a guest at the Italian Cultural Exchange Center (VIK), founded by Meri Calvelli, for Italian-Palestinian cultural exchange.
