Synopsis
Kufid is the diary of the personal and family events of the director who, returning to Brescia after a a visit to locations in Morocco, is blocked at home by the pandemic. With a hint of irony, he confides to Kufid (Covid in the Moroccan dialect) his human and social reflections, ranging from the gentrification of Fez, to the industrialization of the Brescia area and his Moroccan family’s integration into Italy. The account reckons with a virus that is overwhelming lives, families and old habits, but without affecting stereotypes or prejudices, thus leaving unsolved questions in limbo.
