Synopsis
The life of children in the age of terrorism. In the north of Cameroon, on the border with Nigeria, the violent threat of Boko Haram has become interwoven in daily life, but the children in the villages are able to carve out a world of their own, even in the midst of the dangers of armed conflict. However, unspeakable memories of traumatic events emerge from their drawings and stories, expressed with disarming simplicity by the children. Falta is trying to process the death of her father, whilst Ibrahim and Mohamad were enrolled by Boko Haram in the past.
