Synopsis
People from South America and elsewhere go to a small money transfer agency in Milan to send money to their families. The camera, in silence, observes and listens to their brief episodes, giving rise to what could be the start of an archive of metropolitan stories. There is a mixture of Spanish and Italian. Time and space are altered and laughter overlaps the boredom. A small space inhabited by episodes which together reflect a whole community inside another one. Lima is not so far away.

Biography
Roberto Valdivia (Milan, 1993) graduated in Milan in 2019 from the Faculty of Media Design and Multimedia Arts, NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, with a trilogy, to be completed after his university studies, as his thesis. His short film ¿Querido amigo hoy a donde vamos? Took part in the Aquerò and Laterale Film Festival. Two years later, in 2021, his documentary Lima, Lima had its world premiere at the Transcinema Festival Internacional de Cine and, the same year, it is screened at the 30th FESCAAAL – Festival of African, Asian and Latin American Cinema, He is currently a freelance filmmaker and is working on the production of new personal projects.
