Synopsis
A comedy-drama straddling realism and Latino pop music. Lina is a Peruvian woman who like many others, emigrated to Chile to work as a home-help. It will soon be Christmas and Lina is getting ready to go home to her family after many years. Her son Junior, however, seems more interested in getting his mother to bring him a genuine football shirt than seeing her again. Her husband has just had a child by a new partner, Lina realises that the time has come for her to invent a new life for herself and to discover suppressed desires.
