Synopsis
A mother from Guinea asks her son to help her take the shopping home. On the way through the streets of the outskirts of Lisbon, they speak about the past and the future and two visions of life in Portugal, which are now very distant from one another, are revealed, but the bond between them is strong and every generational barrier seems to dissolve.

Biography
Born in 2000 to a Cape Verdean mother and a Guinean father, this director has lived and grown up in the outskirts of Lisbon. Recently graduated from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. Mistida won the Award for Best Director and for Best Film at the prestigious European Short Film Festival Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival in 2022, where had its world premiere.
