Synopsis
Based on a real story. Advised by an administration full of good intentions, Latefa and her two children Walid and Ptissam frenchify their first names at the same time as they acquire French nationality. They face this unique ordeal with humour and lightness, just before the start of the school year.

Biography
Samy Sidali was born in 1989 in Hauts-de-Seine to Moroccan parents. At 18, he moved to London where he has studied cinema at the University of the Arts London, graduating in 2013. He worked for 2 years for the London-based creative agency BAMM as a director of corporate films and documentaries, mostly abroad. Back in Paris at the end of 2017, Samy has developed several short films and documentary projects. In March 2020, he shot in Morocco his first produced short film, Jmar. In June 2021, the shot his second short fiction film P.D.O. . In 2022 the short documentary Petit Taxi has been selected at Idfa Amsterdam.
