Synopsis
Little Bruce can’t stand his school’s strict educational system. With a warrior’s heart and an imaginary sensei (master of martial arts) at his side, he tries to challenge the unjust rules by turning into Stero, a little hero who honours his true self and his rebellious spirit. A subtle and amusing tribute to the power of children’s imagination.

Biography
Millan Tarus is a Kenyan writer & director. He holds a Master's in International Screenwriting and Production from Cattolica University in Milano. He has developed several short film projects in Kenya & Italy including Wote, co-directed with Tevin Kimathi Omwanza and Purgatorio, which premiered at 2023 Cinemadamare Film Festival. He is currently developing a feature film script from his short film Stero, which did its world premiere at the 2024 International Film Festival Rotterdam.

Biography
Tevin Kimathi Omwanza shot in 2021 his first short film Wote, co-directed with Millan Tarus. He has directed two feature films, KIJANI (2022) and AMANDLA (2021), both of which were produced for Maisha Magic Movies, a leading cable TV network in East Africa. He has also made significant contributions to the production teams for Nairobbery (2022) on Netflix and A better life (2023) project on Showmax. He served as the regional coordinator for the Kaduna IFF, Tevin is currently developing his feature film Wote. Stero premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in January 2024.
